Thoughts from the LaMancha Cast.....
"To say the experience of doing this show attained a spiritual dimension would not be overstating it. I'm convinced that something transcendent happened to this group of people in the course of rehearsing, performing (and of course, partying). Even now when I really think about it, I can get quite emotional recalling the many wonderful moments that shine forth in my mind. In my totally biased opinion, we produced what I think is the finest thing Nativity Players has ever done, and with the most joy and camaraderie I've experienced. I feel blessed to have been a part of it - I wanted it to never end. Thank you to everyone!" Kevin Clarisy
"As many of you may know, I grew up in the wonderful world of community theater. The Nativity Players have always been a big part of my life. They are what made me fall in love with theater. I don't know think it is possible to put into words completely what this organization has meant and does mean to me, but more important than the organization; the people. The people helped shape my life. Each and every single one of the cast and crew of Man of LaMancha has effected me in such a + way that I will forever be indebted to them. To everyone, I say thank you from the depths of my heart. You stir my soul and spark my passion. I always remember the experience." Laura Beiting
"Me and My Dad did the show together. I was trying out and he drove me there. He decided to try out so we could spend more time together. I not only saw my Dad in a different light, but all the adults in the show. Being one of only teens in the show was awkward at times, but when the actual show and the parties happened, I really felt like I truly bonded with most people" Emily Rahe
"This was my first time doing a play and it was a great experience. My daughter, Emily, had been in several HS plays. It turned out to be a great way to have some interaction in my teenager's busy schedule. Although I had just a small part, I enjoyed being around some very talented and passionate people. Top to bottom, the Nativity Players are a group of fun-loving, nice people to be around" Tim Rahe
"All of y'all made it so easy for me to acclimate and just relax, be myself, and have fun! You know, the world would be a better place if every employer, organization, church, etc. had people who embraced newcomers with the same warmth and genuine enthusiasm as the Nativity Players." George VanAllmen
"This play was just about the most fun I have ever had in my life! What a great group of people. This was my first role onstage, although I've watched from the wings as my husband had been knocking them dead for the past several years. It's definitely a lot more fun to be in the show! I was inspired to try a lot of new things-thespian as well as making costumes and props. Everyone helped each other and I'm very proud of all our efforts. The family who plays together stays together. Man of LaMancha is an experience I'll never stop smiling about." Sheryl Arbogast
"After a 15 year absence from the stage, I was encouraged by my husband and 4 children to audition for Man of LaMancha. It was such an incredible experience for me. I had already known many of the cast members, but to have the opportunity to get to know them all on a more personal basis was a privilege. I feel blessed to have discovered that they were even more generous, caring and talented than I had already known them to be. Nativity Players not only will be a way for me to fulfill my intense need to be the center of attention, but much more importantly a group of treasured and dear friends. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience." Shelley Castellini
